Community
Here we showcase our experiences in building our international learning community.
LOCUS is an ever expanding community of researchers, teachers, students, social workers, residents and other interested parties. We meet each other in community meetings, intensive international student programs and transnational project meetings.
In our expanding community we contextualize urban social work. This generates a deeper understanding of neighborhoods, of social fabric and of transnational social problems. It inspires us to innovate our social work practices and we bring people together.

Transnational Community
We are very proud of building and sustaining a collaborative community of social workers, researchers and teacher, crossing borders in the five participating cities.
Community Meetings
At Community meetings our LOCUS goals culminate. Here, we connect with all different partners locally. Residents and students get a platform to share their toughts and findings of the project
Intensive Student Programs
Students are an integral part of our project. We introduce them to their international peers via our IPs where they dive into social issues that play in the host cities.
