A showcase of student data

When you facilitate collaboration between students and residents, what are some of the results you can expect?

LOCUS' unique characteristic is that in all five cities the students have conducted the same survey research. This makes it possible to learn something about each city's project neighborhood, but also gives an opportunity for international comparison. The social challenges and strenghts in a neighborhood become more tangible through this comparison.

For example if you look at the factsheets, you will find that safety is an issue for women in most cities in the project. While a majority of people feel safe in the neighborhoods, it is interesting to see that women feel generally less safe across all cities. Although these results may not be surprising, it is good to have discussions with students about why this is and what could be done about this.

Take a look at the knowledge produced by all participants of the project.
