Which neighbourhood to pick?

This section contains some questions for you as planner. These questions are to guide you into finding the right location for you LOCUS Project

Questions

  1. Could research in the area provide important knowledge and insight?

  2. Does the neighbourhood have a “story to tell”?

  3. Could existing prejudice about the neighbourhood be changed by this project?

  4. Could field work benefit the potential neighbourhood?

  5. Is the area safe and welcoming towards student interaction?

  6. Is the area easy to traverse and access?

Try to answer these questions in your project group and let them guide you to finding your ideal neighbourhood.
